Solid State Disks
Have you noticed changes in the technology? Wherever you find everything is quicker, smarter and easier to use. But, were one of the things that have remained constant, created since the first personal computer with internal hard drives, the design and manufacture of hard disks.
Believe it or not, the first personal computers have no hard disks. In fact, they were limited to 5.25 inch floppy disks with a maximum of 360 KB. Now you can listen to talk about 8 inchesPlates, but they were mainly for enterprise computing applications.
The IBM Personal Computer using the 5.25 and it was would be expected that most applications only one of these discs ever need. A friend of the first computer had two of these drives, and then he has a hard drive is installed, so he did not need to spend half his life-changing disks. That was about 1978th The hard drives have shrunk in size, but the coating technology from a number of magnetic disks in oxide has not changed untilnow.
We now have the choice of solid-state disks. Perhaps you are wondering what does. Simply put, it means no moving parts. This means that you no longer your hard drive, it may have destroyed them in a magnet. You can not hurt the hard drive by have a magnet on the side of the computer to a drawing or a note (to the computer so that another friend at the company he worked in.)
Even the hard disk can not so easily by dropping it hurt. If you put it farenough or hard enough, then you will do some damage, but would have been the magnetic disk, damaged by a fall.
Samsung has launched a Solid State Disc (SSD) that it produce at a reasonable price. It is still more expensive than a traditional hard drive, but very soon begins to compete on price. The advantages are that it is silent CD. It is ideal to use it in places where peace is high on the agenda. There will be less energy, what it is not used,You need the disk to be set as a standard CD drive in a notebook PC. This in turn will make the notebook PCs to compete in terms of speed of a desktop.
Desktop PCs always have the advantage that rotates the disk with the correct speed when the computer is started and continues to rotate at that speed, while the computer remains on. Notebook computers have stopped and the hard disk to start the life of the batteries last as long as possible, what's on the hard drive does not permanently aslong.
Look out for SSD drives in your computer quickly.

| Review by malashka (new york) 2010-03-11 I was pleased that the computer was delivered quickly. Amazon took my recent purchase from other suppliers for a long time. The computer is easy and beautiful as anything Samsung makes. It works fine except the DVD / CD slot, is blocked and must be the key to a couple of times before its opening. I have not seen the problem before my most Sony... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by M. Lee (San Francisco) 2010-02-03 I originally bought this for my wife. He constantly complains of my 15 "ThinkPad T series-especially when you go on vacation. It 'just too big and too heavy so, given the many reviews and the fact that she likes pink, I was born to one. The first thing I did was double the memory, as proposed by almost all the power users out there. Memory is cheap, so I... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Paul F Bliss (USA) 2010-03-07 I bought one of my daughters, as a backup when the area was trashed by malware.
